No place on the planet has more theme parks in one area than Central Florida. Here’s how they break down so you can choose where to spend your days.
Walt Disney World Resort
Four theme parks plus water parks, resorts and Disney Springs for shopping and dining:
- Magic Kingdom — Cinderella Castle, classic rides and fireworks.
- EPCOT — World Showcase pavilions, festivals and future-focused attractions.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios — Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom — safaris, Pandora – The World of Avatar and live animals.
Universal Orlando Resort
- Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure — thrill rides, movie worlds and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, connected by the Hogwarts Express.
- Epic Universe — Universal’s newest park, opened in 2025, with immersive lands themed to Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, the Wizarding World and classic monsters.
- Volcano Bay — a tropical water theme park.
SeaWorld Orlando
Roller coasters and marine life, with sister parks Aquatica (water park) and Discovery Cove (an all-inclusive day with animal encounters).
LEGOLAND Florida
In Winter Haven, about 45 minutes southwest of Orlando, built for families with younger kids, plus historic botanical gardens on site.
Smart Tips
- Buy tickets from official sites or authorized sellers — and check for multi-day savings.
- Plan one “rest day” per three park days, especially in summer.
- Prices, hours and reservation rules change often, so check the parks’ official websites before you go.
